Greg is responsible for the overall management of the organisation. He works with the Board to set strategic directions and oversee policy development.
Cutting his teeth as a cabaret musician and department store executive, Greg co-founded and was managing director of Adelaide’s iconic Imprints Booksellers (1984—2007). With a wealth of governance experience, including a term as an Elected a Member of the Adelaide City Council (2000—03) and on the boards of many community benefit, arts and cultural organisations, Greg went on to head up Arts SA, becoming Deputy Chief Executive in the SA Premier’s Department, where his stewardship included the Adelaide Thinkers in Residence Program, Capital City Directorate, and The Integrated Design Commission SA. He was founder and is now Chairman of The Adelaide Festival of Ideas. In 2012 Greg moved to SA Health to head up Office for the Ageing, and interim Director at the Botanic Gardens.

Dr Kristy Kokegei is the History Trust’s Deputy CEO and Head of Audience and Experience. Kristy assists the CEO in managing and supervising operations, executes significant projects, and ensures the History Trust delivers on its strategic priorities.
A historian and strategist, she also leads the development of the History Trust’s storytelling presence through curatorial, digital, and education programs and oversees the History Trust’s community and audience engagement activities, including through South Australia’s state-wide community history network.
Kristy’s particular areas of interest and expertise include the application of digital methods to the research, presentation of, and engagement with history, as well as specific research interests and PhD in the history of Australian immigration, citizenship and migrant assimilation.

Kiera commences with the History Trust of South Australia in the inaugural role of South Australia’s History Advocate – a 21st century-facing role, reminiscent of the former role of State Historian.
As South Australia’s History Advocate Kiera undertakes research, provides advocacy and outreach to historical organisations, individual practitioners and the broader community she is the principal public spokesperson on South Australian history.
Kiera is an award-winning historian. For over twenty years she has been enthusiastically exploring historical ideas and deepening our interest in and understandings of the past, via books and articles, radio and podcasts, film and television, teaching and talking.

Mandy is responsible for the management and development of the State History Collection. Understanding and sharing complex and contested histories has been a thread running through her career, informing her work over three decades as a social history curator, museum director and collections manager, and as a consultant historian on native title claims in jurisdictions across Australia. Mandy holds postgraduate qualifications in history and museum studies and has published widely on Australian social history, museology, and the intersection of history and law in native title. She is currently a Partner Investigator on two ARC Linkage projects: ‘Reconciling with the Frontier: Accounting for Colonial Conflict’ and ‘LGBTQ Migrations: Life Story Narratives in the South Australian GLAM Sector’.
Mandy is also a member of State Records Council, a Visiting Research Fellow in the School of Humanities at the University of Adelaide, and a member of the Flinders University College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences Industry Advisory Board.

Paul is the Head of Museums, Marketing and Major Events. He is focused on the strategic direction of the our museums: the Migration Museum, National Motor Museum and South Australian Maritime Museum. He also manages South Australia’s History Festival and the Bay to Birdwood as well as museum staff, volunteers, collections and public programs.

Donna is the Business Manager with the History Trust of South Australia. Donna manages the Business Unit and is responsible for financial management, human resources, records management, ICT helpdesk and server management.

Amber joined the History Trust in January 2018 and is responsible for the planning, initiation, management, and delivery of HR and WHS programs at the History Trust of SA, and the provision of expert advice to the CEO, Senior Management and Workers on a wide range of HR and WHS systems, processes, policies, legislation and Australian Standards.
Amber holds qualifications in Human Resource Management, a Master in Business Administration, and is currently completing a degree in Psychology.
