The opportunity
The Events Officer is a crucial supporting member of the events team that develops, produces and manages the major events of the History Trust of South Australia. The Events Officer provides support to the team delivering South Australia’s History Festival and the Bay to Birdwood, as well as other activities in the events profile of the History Trust of SA.

Special conditions
Some out of hours work may be required. Occasional weekend work may be required. Engagement in this role is subject to a satisfactory Department of Human Services Working with Children Check. Intrastate and interstate travel may be required and a current driver’s licence is desirable.

Additional note
This is a part-time (0.6 FTE) contract, starting in March 2022 (to be negotiated) for two years with possibility of extension. The role is located at History Trust of South Australia, Torrens Parade Ground, Victoria Drive, Adelaide but may be required to work from one of our Museum locations.

Salary
ASO2:  $55,315 – $59,503  pa
