Activism Now

While the 125th anniversary of women’s suffrage in South Australia (18 December 2019) is a timely reminder that there have always been ideas worth fighting for, Activism Now demonstrates that political engagement matters as much now as it ever has. Featuring the voices and concerns of six young, self-identified women activists, this exhibition at once confronts the visitor with some of the harsh realities we face today, and provides hope for a better future.

This exhibition was created by the Centre of Democracy. It comprises of seven wooden crates with pull-up exhibition panels.

This exhibition is larger and heavier than our standard travelling exhibitions and we recommend a commercial vehicle with lift tray to lift the crates into the vehicle for transport.
