History Matters ‘Pop-In’: Industrialisation in SA

Join the History Trust team for another online professional development session for teachers. This session will feature a visit from David D’Angelo, to talk about Industrialisation in SA.

David works within the History Trust of SA as a Museum Officer at the Migration Museum, where his duties include delivering Learning programs, research and program development. He has worked for the History Trust for over 8 years. He was previously in teaching roles.

His strongest historical interests are in the fields of politics, international relations, technology, Southern Europeans, Islamic and Indigenous issues. For this presentation, he is turning his mind to the nature of South Australia’s peculiar history of Industrialisation and its effects upon its people. He will show how Industrialisation has brought enormous benefits to our State, but has also created some of our greatest challenges.
