Collab

Collab is a joint venture between the History Trust of South Australia, the
South Australian Museum, the State Library of South Australia and the Art Gallery of South Australia to promote the discovery of their digital collections.

The inaugural $10,000 Collab Digital Cultural Fellowship is currently open for applications. We encourage all digital storytellers to apply now to reimagine South Australia’s cultural collections. Applications close 5pm (ACDT) Monday 15 February 2021.

Collab supports innovation, new knowledge and entrepreneurship across Adelaide’s cultural precinct and showcases our digital expertise to the world. Collab has a physical ‘Lab’ space located within the premises of the South Australian Museum, which is connected to the GigCity Adelaide ultra-fast internet network. This co-working office space provides a physical catalyst for cross-institutional and interdisciplinary research and practice at the intersection of culture, technology, the creative industries and the South Australian tech startup ecosystem.

In 2020 Collab launched its inaugural Digital Cultural Fellowship to promote experimentation in new digital interfaces and experiences that bring together the rich digital collections of South Australia’s cultural institutions.
