SASSi: South Australian Stories Initiative

SASSi seeks to survey the diverse forms of research being undertaken across the state regarding South Australia’s past, so we can ‘join the dots’ between organisations and individuals and further the depth and breadth of research and storytelling state-wide.

SASSi will be open from Monday 4 March until Sunday 7 April 2024 and depending on how much detail you share, should take about 20 minutes.

This five-minute video explains how to fill in SASSi and addresses privacy concerns.

Some questions in the SASSi survey are optional, and although the History Trust will always comply with privacy provisions, you are welcome to remain anonymous if you wish. If, however, you would like to connect with likeminded organisations or seek advice about promoting your research, please do provide your contact details.

We will share SASSi’s findings at a free public event during South Australia’s History Festival, so check out the festival program to book for the free ‘Let’s Get SASSi’ event on 14 May, 11-12:30pm @ the Torrens Parade Ground Drill Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend, but for those who can’t make it, we will also produce a video of the survey findings and post this on the History Advocate page of the History Trust website.
