Do South Australia’s history and legacy matter to you?
Do you agree that history helps us to make sense of our world and our times?
We invite you to become one of 50 inaugural South Australian History Guardians.
The History Trust of South Australia seeks your help to advance our core purposes of collecting, presenting and sharing the significant stories of our state with all South Australians, young and old, and with the world.
Since 1981 The History Trust has committed to serve the community statewide through our programs.
The History Trust of South Australia is unique.
We are the only statutory authority in our nation that is dedicated to the broader advancement of our history. Our mission is to ‘give the past a future – now!’.
Becoming one of our 50 inaugural SA History Guardians who generously support our work with a $5,000 tax-deductible gift can be a personal act of leadership. Your decision to join us will send a signal to others that our mission is important to South Australia and that it resonates with you.
I have become a South Australian History Guardian as a proud South Australian who firmly believes in the importance of sharing our legacy locally, nationally, and internationally. May the History Trust’s work continue to inspire and share our achievements across time and cultures.Theo Maras AM
