SA History Fund

The SAHF grant round for 2021-22 closed Sunday 5 September. Thank you to our applicants for your interesting and diverse range of projects. Allocation of grants is being finalised and notifications will be made mid-late November. The 2022-23 SAHF round is scheduled to open in June/July 2022.

The South Australian History Fund enables South Australian stories to be gathered, preserved and shared, now and in the future. We welcome and appreciate your interest in helping to make that happen.

The South Australian History Fund (SAHF) provides grant support to projects, research or publications that contribute to the knowledge, understanding and sharing of South Australia’s rich history.
Each year the SAHF provides up to $5,000 to communities, organisations and individuals from a total grant fund of around $70,000.

The SAHF is open to community and other organisations, local government, tertiary institutions and individuals.  Grant guidelines with more information about eligibility are published on this website just prior to each grant round.
