Our doors are open again!

Following a short and successful 7-day lockdown across South Australia, the History Trust is pleased to advise that the doors to our museums are open from 10.00 am Wednesday 28 July. This includes the Migration Museum, the National Motor Museum and the South Australian Maritime Museum, along with the Centre of Democracy.

Our existing COVIDSafe practices are still in place, with ongoing regular cleaning, numerous hand sanitiser stations for visitors and physical distancing guidance.

In addition, new South Australian Government regulations state that masks no longer need to be worn in public internal spaces; this includes our museums and galleries.

We will continue to monitor the situation and follow SA Health and SA Government advice. The health and safety of our teams, visitors and volunteers remains our priority.

School bookings to visit our museums are back up and running, so please contact our museums directly if you wish to book in a visit. More information about our education programs can be found here.

The History Trust will provide updates on any changes through our website and social media channels. If you are seeking information on COVID-19, visit or call the South Australian Government’s COVID-19 Information Line on 1800 253 787.
