Touring exhibition

In 2008 the National Motor Museum is taking the original 1908 Talbot that made the first crossing of the Australian continent back across the continent to celebrate the original journey. it will travel as the centrepiece of a touring exhibition.

We would like to invite all locals and fellow travellers to come and visit us along the way. This is a once in a lifetime chance to see this iconic Australian car.  So if you are planning your trip through the great Australian outback, make sure you rendezvous with the 1908 Talbot and celebrate a truly remarkable Australian journey.

The basic itinerary for Off the Beaten Track is outlined below:
