Come on a trip along some of South Australia’s highways and by-ways and explore some of South Australia’s motoring history through an unusual collection of objects and stories.

Marvel at the 1928 ‘house on wheels’ and find out how roads have shaped regional communities.

Motor home postcard courtesy of Goolwa National Trust MuseumThe exhibition is proudly presented by the Farm Shed Museum and Tourism Centre, Kadina, Goolwa National Trust Museum, Kimba & Gawler Ranges Historical Society, Mannum Dock Museum of River History, and The Sheep’s Back Museum, Naracoorte, in conjunction with the National Motor Museum and the History Trust of South Australia.
