In case you're not au fait with the Rendezvous, it's a day for classic cars, classic looks and a chance to take a trip back to the 50s, 60s and 70s, as pre-1979 motors and their owners are all on display.  

And it’s not just a rock & roll revival for car enthusiasts where prizes are awarded for the best original and best custom vehicle. There’s also entertainment for all ages plus a fashion competition, with a chance to win ‘most authentic look’ of the 1950s or 60s.  A dance-floor with great music means the day keeps everyone rocking and rolling along.  Remember - all kids under 15 enter FREE!

Can't wait until next year's Rock & Roll Rendezvous. So roll on Sunday 13 April 2014 when the event is back at Birdwood once again.

Ticket prices for next year's event will be publicised as soon as possible. They are available at the gate on the day of the event but if you pre-purchase 10 or more you get a discount. It's also worth bearing in mind that entry to the National Motor Museum is included in the ticket price - so even more great value.

Entertainment
Rock and Roll Rendezvous is always a great day full of fun and entertainment for rock and rollers of all ages. And 2013 was no exception. With music, dancing, childrens activities and fashion there is something for everyone.

Impressive line up
Vicky O'Keefe was the headline act in 2013, doing her tribute show to father, Johnny O'Keefe.
The line up included The Speedsters, Blue Comets and Pulse Band & the Lincolns. Birdwood really was the place to be for good music that afternoon.

Classics in Chrome
From the 50s, 60s and 70s, the event features the hottest vehicles that take you back to an era of motoring where style was everything!
From FJs and fins to cadillacs and custom cars, hotrods, muscle cars and bikes too - if it's got wheels and is pre-1979 then your motor will fit right in!

Cruising in style
Prior to the event why not join your mates for breakfast and cruise to the Museum in Birdwood in a convoy of the classics?
Cars meet at the Torrens Parade Ground, corner Victoria Drive and King William Street, City from 7.30am for breakfast, cruising from 9am. With room for 250 vehicles it's an impressive display in itself.

Come on everybody!
It's a day for dance, divas and a definite slice of style.
As is the tradition at the Rendezvous, there's plenty of jumping and jiving on the dance floor but the judges decision is final!

Kids have fun too!
With the kids under 15 getting in for free, there's no excuse for not having a great family day out.
Free craft activities, thanks to Splodge, meant that the kids kept having fun as well as the adults. Face painting, airbrush tattoos, clowns plus no event is complete without a Jumping Castle!

Fashionista Frenzy
From the 50s through to the 70s, rock and roll has inspired some of the most amazing fashion trends of our times. The Rock & Roll Rendezvous is the kind of event where everyone loves to get dressed up, bring out their inner rock star and be part of a parade of the best dressed. With several prizes up for grabs you never know - you could be leaving the lovely Adelaide Hills with a trophy! Straight to the pool room...

Dance the night before away...
The Rock and Roll Rendezvous partners with The Arkaba Hotel whereby Rock the Boat presents a special dance the night before the Rendezvous.
