Collections Management

The Migration Museum follows the History Trust of South Australia Collections Management Policy

Another document that outlines the Migration Museum’s collection aims is A Keeping Place: The Migration Museum and Cultural Diversity

It is the curators’ role to care for the Museum collections. In addition the curators manage information and research associated with the Museum’s collections.

If you have a question on items or information held at the Migration Museum you can fill out an online Curatorial Advice or Assistance form, or contact the Museum on 82077570.

There are a number of volunteers who also work with the collections. To find out more about volunteering at the Migration Museum click here

The Museum’s collection is part of Australia’s Distributed National Collection and the database is available on the Australian Museums Online (AMOL) website http://amol.org.au
