Migration Museum Banners Project

The banner collection began when the Migration Museum first opened in 1986. Community groups created banners representing memories of homelands and dreams of a new life in Australia. Over the years different groups have donated new banners. There are now over 40 banners in the collection. Images of all the banners are available as cards in the Migration Museum shop.

The Museum welcomes offers from community groups who are interested in making a banner for this collection. If you would like to talk to someone at the Museum about creating and donating a banner please contact us on 8207 7570.
