Mallee Tourist and Heritage Centre, Pinnaroo

At Pinnaroo a series of mini dioramas illustrate the main changes to the region’s landscape through settlement, scrub clearing, soil erosion, reclamation and conservation, farm production, and irrigation and the corresponding development of the community since Federation. The exhibition is constructed to represent water tanks, which are an important feature of the Mallee area.
